Our organic goat meat comes from our grass fed goats that are free to roam on our organic farms. Our well-hung meat has been hung for at least 21 to 28 days. All our goat meats are from traditional goat breeds which are stocky in size, therefore, allowing us to pasture feed them for life. Their natural diet of pasture contains grasses, wildflowers, and herbs.
Unfortunately very few animals today are fed on pasture alone. Many farmers now try to produce their meat as quickly as possible, by feeding them cereals and soya and keeping them indoors for some, or all of the time. Many goats and lambs are vanishing from the fields and the tasty, healthy, grass-fed meat they produce is hard to come by. When buying from us, you are allowing these traditional farming practices to survive for yourselves and future generations to have great quality grass-fed meat.
